El estupendo sello aleman Firestation Records<\/strong> <\/a>(antes Firestation Tower Records) siempre se ha caracterizado por una pol\u00c3\u00adtica de precios de lo m\u00c3\u00a1s atractiva para sus seguidores. Normalmente todos sus novedades permanecen a un\u00c2\u00a0precio adecuado\u00c2\u00a0de venta durante un tiempo, para m\u00c3\u00a1s tarde pasar a ser rebajadas, en ocasiones de manera m\u00c3\u00a1s que notable, para que el sello pueda seguir haciendo caja y la falta de ventas no lastre la posibilidad de publicar nuevas referencias. De este modo los impacientes puede adquirir a un precio correcto y razonable los discos de Firestation nada m\u00c3\u00a1s salir, mientras que el que anda con una econom\u00c3\u00ada algo m\u00c3\u00a1s justa, o no est\u00c3\u00a1 muy convencido de comprar alg\u00c3\u00ban disco, siempre tiene la oportunidad de esperar para completar el cat\u00c3\u00a1logo del sello.<\/p>\n

En recientes fechas el sello de Uwe Weigmann<\/strong> y Olaf Zocher<\/strong> actualizaban su cat\u00c3\u00a1logo dando noticia de la salida del Cd de Soulboy Collective<\/a><\/strong> y anunciando la pr\u00c3\u00b3xima puesta a la venta de Cd\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s recopilatorios de la etapa dorada de The Cherry Orchard<\/a><\/strong>, grabaciones in\u00c3\u00a9ditas de Playing For Time<\/strong> y Mighty Mighty<\/a><\/strong>. Tres discos que a buen seguro har\u00c3\u00a1n las delicias de aquellos que somos aficionados a acumular material de oscuras bandas independientes de finales de la d\u00c3\u00a9cada de los 80\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s. Ante semejante avalancha de novedades en un sello tan diminuto como Firestation Records, probablemente toca recaudar fondos, as\u00c3\u00ad que sus responsables han optado por extender la siempre interesante oferta de precios que mantienen, reduciendo dr\u00c3\u00a1sticamente el precio de la inmensa mayor\u00c3\u00ada de su cat\u00c3\u00a1logo, con precios que van de 3 a 1 euro por Cd.<\/p>\n

Creo que todo est\u00c3\u00a1 dicho, conseguir por un precio tan rid\u00c3\u00adculo recopilatorios tan imprescindibles como los de The Nivens<\/strong>, The Ogdens<\/a><\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0(no confundir con The Odgens, tambi\u00c3\u00a9n en Firestation), The Sound Of Leamington Spa<\/a><\/strong>, la reedici\u00c3\u00b3n del Pontification<\/em><\/strong> de los Desert Wolves<\/a><\/strong>, The Bloody Marys<\/strong>, The Morrisons<\/strong> <\/a>o discos de bandas relativamente actuales como Labrador<\/a><\/strong>, Seaside Stars<\/a><\/strong>, Arvidson<\/strong>, The Sealevel<\/a><\/strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6UN CHOLLAZO SIN PARANG\u00c3\u201cN, que s\u00c3\u00b3lo podemos comparar con el que Shelflife<\/strong> propici\u00c3\u00b3 hace muchos a\u00c3\u00b1os con motivo de la mudanza del sello estadounidense.<\/p>\n

Nos resulta dif\u00c3\u00adcil recomendar menos de 15 \u00c3\u00b3 20 discos del cat\u00c3\u00a1logo de Firestation Records, de modo que a cada uno corresponder\u00c3\u00a1 el trabajo de indagar en el cat\u00c3\u00a1logo del sello. Por aqu\u00c3\u00ad lo hemos tenido claro y hemos comprado todos los\u00c2\u00a0discos que nos faltaban del sello.
